How to determine if a pressure vessel has exceeded its inspection period?

1. Confirm the initial inspection date

Newly commissioned pressure vessels must complete their first comprehensive inspection within 3 years. If the equipment has been in use for more than 3 years without inspection, it is considered overdue.

2. Verify the safety status level

Level 1 or 2: Inspected every 6 years.

Level 3: Inspected every 3 to 6 years.

Level 4: Requires monitoring, with a cumulative usage time not exceeding 3 years.

Level 5: Must be immediately shut down and defects addressed.

3. Check the inspection validity period
The user unit should apply for inspection one month before the expiration date. If the current date exceeds the validity period, it is considered overdue.
