Fixed Tube Sheet Heat Exchanger
Fixed Tube Sheet Heat Exchanges refers to a shell-and-tube heat exchanger in which the tube sheets at both ends of the tube bundle are fixedly connected to the shell by welding. After the tube sheet is welded to the shell, it can also be used as a flange, and it is connected with the flange of the tube box by bolts. The advantage is that the structure is simple, and the inner diameter of the shell is the smallest under the condition of ensuring the same heat transfer surface.
A fixed tube sheet heat exchanger is a type of shell and tube heat exchanger, where the tube sheets at both ends are rigidly connected to the shell, resulting in a simple structure.
Product Advantages
Strong Structural Reliability: The tube bundle and tube sheets are fully welded, completely eliminating any leakage risks at the connection points.
Outstanding Pressure Capacity: Tube sheets are 38-60mm thick, with a pressure resistance of ≥4.0MPa, meeting the requirements of high-pressure steam and other demanding conditions.
High Fatigue Resistance: The seamless, integrated shell can withstand 10⁶ cycles of thermal and pressure fluctuations.
Thermal Stress Compensation: Expansion joint interfaces are reserved to absorb 3-15mm displacement, preventing deformation due to temperature differences.

Maintenance and Care
Internal Tube Cleaning: Regularly flush with mechanical balling or high-pressure water.
Shell-Side Cleaning: Only use chemical solvents for circulating cleaning.
Leak Detection: Tube sheet welds must undergo regular non-destructive testing (RT/PT).
Expansion Joint Inspection: If expansion joints are installed, the fatigue condition of the bellows should be carefully checked.
Installation, Debugging And Operation Precautions
Alignment and Support: Ensure the casing and pipes are aligned during installation. The tube sheet should not be subjected to excessive external force. Expansion joints or flexible couplings are recommended for inlet and outlet pipes.
Pressure and Temperature Increase Procedure: For initial commissioning, a slow temperature increase and phased pressurization should be adopted to reduce sudden changes in thermal stress.
Monitoring Items: During operation, monitor the inlet and outlet temperature difference, pressure drop, pressure on each side, and signs of leakage. If any abnormalities are found, immediately stop the machine and inspect it.
FAQ
Q: What fluids are suitable for heat exchange in a fixed tube sheet heat exchanger?
A: It is suitable for applications where the fluids on both sides are clean, non-corrosive, have a small temperature difference, or where both sides have high pressure and a high requirement for sealing.
Q: Can a third-party performance test be requested when purchasing a fixed tube sheet heat exchanger?
A: Yes, we support third-party organizations to witness test the heat exchanger's thermal performance (such as heat transfer rate, outlet temperature).
Q: What is the shortest production cycle for a fixed tube sheet heat exchanger if an urgent order is needed?
A: The shortest production cycle depends on material availability and size. For commonly used materials and standard sizes, the production time can be compressed to 4-6 weeks.
Q: Can video guidance for installation and commissioning of the fixed tube sheet heat exchanger be provided?
A: Yes, we provide detailed installation manuals and remote video guidance services to ensure correct installation.
Q: Can the heat exchanger be designed to meet specific explosion-proof standards (such as ATEX)?
A: Yes, if the fluid medium is flammable or explosive, we can provide heat exchangers that meet explosion-proof standards such as ATEX or IECEx.
