High Pressure Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger
A high-pressure shell and tube heat exchanger is a shell-and-tube heat exchanger specifically designed for high-pressure conditions. It consists of a series of tubes (tube bundles) enclosed in a large cylindrical shell and is specifically designed to withstand extremely high operating pressures (typically Class 900 and above, or operating pressures exceeding 10-15 MPa, and even reaching over 100 MPa) in the shell side and/or tube side.
High-Pressure Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger is a type of shell and tube structure equipment designed to safely operate under high working pressure for heat exchange.
Product Advantages
High Pressure Bearing Capacity: Made of thick-walled seamless steel pipes, it can withstand pressures up to 100-150 bar.
Wide Temperature Range: Capable of withstanding temperatures from -50°C to 600°C, suitable for low-temperature freezing and high-temperature steam conditions.
Durability: Made with high-quality alloy materials and a fully welded construction, with a service life of 15-20 years.
Easy Cleaning: With floating head or U-tube structure, the tube bundle can be fully removed for cleaning.
Petroleum Refining: Used for heating and cooling fluids at different stages during crude oil fractionation, improving energy efficiency.
Chemical Production: Used for heat exchange between reactors and condensers, ensuring reaction temperatures are controlled within a reasonable range.
Power Industry: Used for heat exchange between boilers and cooling systems, improving thermal energy utilization.

FAQ
Q: What is the typical design pressure range for high-pressure shell and tube heat exchangers (HP S&T)? A: The design pressure of high-pressure heat exchangers is typically above 10 MPa (about 1500 psi) and can even reach up to 100 MPa.
Q: What is the most common tube sheet connection method for high-pressure heat exchangers? How is its reliability ensured? A: High-strength welding or explosion welding is commonly used. Reliability is ensured through ultrasonic testing (UT), penetrant testing (PT), and high-pressure hydrostatic testing.
Q: How can buyers verify your company's capabilities in manufacturing high-pressure equipment? A: We provide ASME U or PED certificates, manufacturing experience cases, special equipment licenses required for high-pressure equipment manufacturing, and certifications for welders and NDT personnel.
Q: How are non-quality issues leading to failures defined within the warranty period for high-pressure equipment? A: Non-quality issues include operating beyond design pressure/temperature, using incompatible media, failure to maintain as required, external impact, or natural disasters.
Q: Do you offer full lifecycle management services for high-pressure heat exchangers? A: Yes, the services include design, manufacturing, installation guidance, regular inspection plans, spare parts supply, maintenance, modification, and decommissioning management.
