I. Corrosion Prevention is Key
Maintain the anti-corrosion coating: Regularly inspect paint, electroplating, and other coatings; repair any damage immediately.
Control the corrosive environment: Store carbon monoxide/oxygen containers in a dry place; avoid contact between alkaline solutions and carbon steel.
Clean up dead corners: Thoroughly empty the medium when not in use to prevent residual corrosion.
II. Three things for daily maintenance
Prevent leaks: Check flanges and valves daily; address any leaks immediately.
Prevent vibration: Monitor pipeline vibration; reinforce supports if abnormalities are found.
Prevent corrosion: Regularly measure the wall thickness of containers handling corrosive media.
III. Standardized Operation
Stable operation: Avoid sudden changes in pressure and temperature; heat high-temperature containers slowly.
Regular inspection: Perform external inspections annually and pressure tests every 6-10 years.
Safety accessories: Calibrate pressure gauges and safety valves annually; replace any that fail immediately.
IV. Don't let your guard down during periods of non-use
Empty the medium: Replace and clean corrosive media.
Dry storage: Keep the interior dry to prevent rust.
